Important: the expiry date shows whether the card is in date; training hours show renewal readiness. These are separate checks. Confirm your official record before driving professionally.

Enter your current DQC details

Use the expiry date printed on your current card.
International driving requires International Driver CPC training.
Completed in the current five-year period.
These do not qualify for international driving.
For context only. Do not assume the DQC issue date is the period start.

35 hours every 5 years

Most professional lorry drivers must complete 35 hours of periodic training in each five-year cycle to keep Driver CPC.

Course type matters

For professional driving in the UK and Europe, all 35 hours must be International Driver CPC courses. UK-only drivers can use National courses or a mixture.

Expired card?

Do not drive professionally until you have confirmed valid Driver CPC. The route back depends on when and how you originally qualified.
